Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers clients booking sessions through ATC Connect, therapists using the platform to run their practice, and visitors to our public pages. ATC Connect is a product of Anytime Counselling Pty Ltd.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, and login credentials.
- Clinical information: intake responses, consent records, session notes, AI-assisted summaries, outcome measures, and any documents you upload.
- Compliance information (therapists): registrations, insurance, qualifications, and membership records, including expiry dates.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider; we store transaction records and status, not full card numbers.
- Usage information: device, browser, and interaction data used for security and service improvement.
3. How we use it
We use your information to deliver bookings, sessions, notes, and payments; to verify therapist compliance; to keep the platform secure; and to meet our legal obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
4. AI-assisted features
Where a therapist uses AI note-assist with your consent, audio is processed to text and then discarded; only the resulting draft note is stored, and it is reviewed and approved by your therapist before being finalised. See our AI Use & Disclosure Policy for full detail. Your clinical data is never used to train AI models.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the therapist you book with, service providers who help us run the platform (see Subprocessors & Vendors), and where required by law.
6. Notes are never visible to the other party by default
A therapist’s clinical notes on a session are kept separate from anything shared with the client — clients see only what a therapist explicitly shares with them, such as attached homework resources.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or a copy of your information at any time, subject to our retention obligations described in the Data Retention Policy.
8. Contact
